  • Brittany Tabron

    FOUNDER/CEO

I have a personal experience and connection with at-risk youth aged girls. I was raised by a single mother of 5 children; experienced a form of sexual abuse; a young/teen mom; understand the mentality behind wanting to run away; looked for love and attention in the wrong people and places; felt like I did not belong in my family; obtained my bachelor’s degree in Business Management with a concentration in Public Administration; and have an eight-year experience in the law enforcement sector, where I helped and encouraged the youth, from time to time. I needed a mentor when I was growing up and that is my desire to be for the next generations.

I have written a memoir called “Color Me Free: My Truth Covered in His Truth”. It is geared to inspire and encourage young girls (women alike) that no matter what their life, circumstances or environment may be, there is better and more in store for them. They do not have to fall victim to any of those things. I am living proof of the turnaround and how God works all things out for our good!

  • Sabrina Dixon

    TREASURER

Hello! My name is Sabrina Dixon. I am a 32yr old wife and mom of 3 beautiful boys. I was born and raised in Washington DC by my late Nana along with my 5 siblings. Through many struggles, in 2008 I graduated from THE Paul Laurence Dunbar High School with a 4.0. In 2015, I suffered a major loss. My Nana was taken by Alzheimer’s disease. Through my grief, I became an advocate for the disease. It is my passion and fight that there be a cure found and more support for its caregivers. I devote my time between spending time with my family, helping those around me, and supporting those with Alzheimer’s and their caregivers. My motto is, “Trust God even when you can’t trace Him!”

I chose to join Color Me Free because I love everything it stands for! I was that little girl. My grandmother did everything in her power to raise my siblings and I the right way. She struggled a lot after raising her own 10 children and then my mom’s 6. I was the only little girl in the house. She raised me on principle and the love of God but to be honest, something was still missing. I needed something. The programs in school helped a lot. They were an outlet. Many of the mentors that came in were a ray of sunshine I needed away from home. I’ve always said I wanted to be that light that another little girl needed. When Brittany launched her non-profit, God immediately told me to reach out. I am so excited to see where God takes her on this journey. I plan to be a helping hand for as long as God allows!
